Top 5 Firefox Extensions for Web Design/Development
Firefox has a plethora of extensions available for free on their . Don’t get too excited though, because the more you install, the slower your browser will be. Limit it to just a few that you can’t live without.
Here’s a list of Firefox extensions I have been using for a long time for interface design. I find I use them all the time and they make my life (and job) easier.
Aardvark
What it Does
Powerful and user-friendly selector utility for selecting elements and doing various actions on them. It can be used for cleaning up a page prior to printing it (by removing and isolating elements), for making the page more readable, and for analyzing the structure of a page.

ColorZilla
What it Does
ColorZilla makes it easy to see what color palattes and to sample colors that are being used on a webpage. This is ideal in situations where a client needs a specific color for an object, and they didn’t have the hex color available.

Firesizer
What it Does
Firesizer allows you to change the size of your browser window to different screen dimensions. This is great for testing web layouts to make sure they fall within the width you are designing for. It comes with preset sizes, however, you can easily add more.

Nuke Anything Enhanced
What it Does
Nuke Anything Enhanced allows you to hide almost anything via context menu ‘Remove Object’ or ‘Remove Selection’ with possibility of multiple undo of ‘Remove Object’. You can also make a selection and chose "Remove everything else" to clear the page and only leave the selected text. This extension is very helpful for printing webpages for clients without ads or other unwanted objects. The removed objects are temporary. Simply refresh the page to see them again.

What it Does
Web developer is a must for any web design or developer. It provides a bunch of tools to help you analyize and perform tasks on a website. The menu is accessed by right-clicking the mouse and choosing "Web Developer". On the submenu there are several different tools to choose from.
