About
One day when I was 15 years old, I was very sick with the flu. My dad tried to cheer me up by drawing a picture of me sick in bed, only he drew me as a female weasel. After that, dad and I were drawing pictures of one another of incidents that happened. This web site has the collection of my comics, a collage of my life.
The purpose of this web site is to share my compositions. I started composing in my Sophomore year of college (1996). Genres vary from Baroque to Contemporary. Currently, my favorite composers are John Williams, James Horner, Sergi Prokofiev, and Danny Elfman.
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and received my M.A. in Composition May 2004. I studied composition with Dr. Paul Osterfield. I also graduated from Clayton State University in May 2000 with my B.M. Composition degree. I studied composition with Dr. Brent Weaver, whom is now the head of the Fine Arts department at George Fox University in Oregon.
In June 2004, I got married to Dewayne Sullivan and live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I worked as a Web Interface Designer for Tennessee.gov for a couple of years, took a year off to teach music at Middle Tennessee State University, and now I work as a Web Systems Developer for Acuity Marketing Communications.
